Wiemann studied art at the Florida International University, going on to get his Masters at the University of Miami. His first forays into painting were doing super-realist large-scale canvases, using airbrush techniques and various masks, which he feels prepared him in his latest visions combining acrylic paints and wooden panels.
During his life in Florida, his work was prolifically exhibited and lauded, and he has enjoyed continued success upon his move to New York.
He currently lives in Manhattan with his wife Rose and their son Raphael.
