Antanas Adomaitis began his career as an artist in 1956 when he was two years old. His mother said that as soon as he discovered a pencil and paper he began to draw. He was rejected from entering The Vilnius Art Academy at the age of 18 because he failed The History of The Communist Party of the USSR entrance exam. As a result he studied art himself in native Lithuania and is completely self-taught. His art has been exhibited throughout Europe and The United States. Antanas resides in Lithuania with his wife and two sons.
